Becoming Quantum Computing Something*
We are living in an era where the boundaries of possibility are constantly being pushed. Innovation isn’t just accelerating – it’s leaping forward at a pace that’s hard to comprehend. The miracles we once dreamed of are now part of our everyday lives. We’re standing on the threshold of breakthroughs that will reshape our world, and nowhere is this more apparent than in quantum computing and artificial intelligence.
As I learn more about quantum computing, I see its incredible potential – particularly in achieving cognitive enhancement for all humans. This isn’t just about faster computers or more advanced algorithms; it’s about unlocking new ways of thinking, expanding human capabilities, and understanding the complexities of our world on a whole new level.
I believe that through the intersection of quantum computing and AI, we can evolve in ways that were once considered science fiction. This journey is just beginning, and I’m excited to explore how these technologies can enhance our cognitive abilities, enabling us to thrive in the complex and abundant world of tomorrow.
This is my new commitment – to push the boundaries of technology, to experiment, to learn, and to share this adventure with others who are curious about what lies ahead.
Let’s explore the future together.
PS: And yes, I still plan to be around in 2100 to tell you, “See? I told you!” 😉
* I am considering a Product Manager role in Quantum as it has always been my preferred role and I can leverage most of my previously acquired skills. But I'm keeping an open mind as I explore this field.
Learning
QClass24/25
To gain a deeper understanding of quantum computing, I've enrolled in QClass24/25 offered by QWorld. This program runs from September 2024 to May 2025 and covers introductory concepts in quantum computing, programming, and algorithms. The curriculum includes a review of Python programming, basic trigonometry & linear algebra, as well as fundamentals of classical and quantum systems, superposition, measurement, entanglement, and more. I'm looking forward to the hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to engage with a global community of students interested in this rapidly evolving field.
